Stop Climate Change - absurd!

Oh – the arrogance of man to think that we can ‘Save the Planet’.
Climate change, like plate tectonics, is a constant. Without it, evolution wouldn’t have happened and mankind wouldn’t exist.
Every living species on this planet contributes to climate change including man, termites, cows, rainforests, and algae. Polar icecaps advance and retreat, deserts advance and recede, mountains grow and erode.
That said, like many species, mankind will not inhabit this planet forever. But we have reached a point in our evolution and abilities that we believe that we can ‘control’ our climate rather than need to adapt to it.
What we can do is stop believing that we can recklessly waste the planets finite resources in this quest for our comfort and convenience.
To achieve this nirvana we cannot continue to pursue a global economy dependant upon consumerism whilst we wring our hands about protecting the environment by recycling plastic bags.
  • EVERY new building, residential and commercial, should have a photovoltaic solar panel roof feeding excess energy back into the National Grid for a fee.
  • Reduce manufacturing personal cars, which spend 95% of the day stationary, and improve public transport.
  • Stop transporting unnecessary products and foodstuffs around the world - eat seasonal and local products.
  • Stop using our oceans like an open sewer.
